MPL2007: The Philippine Islands

In January 2007, we travelled to the other side of the world (literally) to deliver brand new guitars, basses, microphones, strings, cables, tuners and other items to 8 churches and a Bible School. We personally visited 3 of the churches and spent several days teaching and working with the Bible School students. Of all the things we did there, the most valuable part it seemed was the training. Of course, we were not in a position to teach anyone how to play, but the instruction we gave on subjects such as tuning, “EQ”-ing a sound system and the relationship between a worship leader and the pastor proved immediately effective.

We are still receiving reports of the impact that we are continuing to have on the services in the Philippines. We are so grateful to everyone who gave financially to this project and to those who made us a part of your prayers. You truly made a difference for years to come.
